Loman continues “We had an unusual situation as Ed is adopted so his birth name is different from his adoption name, which is kind of unusual, so we had to go through the process of getting his original birth certificate and his adoption papers. He’s divorced, I’m divorced so we had to go through the process of submitting our divorce papers. Maite just walked us through the whole process, and I can tell you, if we had to figure all that out ourselves, we would have come down here without the right documents. We told her about our different circumstances, and she just knew the answers.”
